Common Issues

Recording Problems

My recording didn’t save

  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Check that the app has microphone permissions
  • Try closing and reopening the app

Transcription is taking too long

  • Longer recordings take more time to process
  • Check your internet connection
  • Transcription typically completes within a few minutes

The transcript has errors

  • You can edit transcripts directly in the app
  • Clear audio in quiet environments produces better results
  • Speaking clearly and at a moderate pace helps accuracy

Account Issues

I forgot my password

  • Use the “Forgot Password” link on the login screen
  • Check your spam folder for the reset email

I can’t join a circle

  • Make sure you have the correct invite code
  • Codes are case-sensitive
  • Contact the circle owner if the code isn’t working

I want to delete my account

  • Email privacy@rekora.app with your request
  • We’ll verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days
